Only wanting to speak when absolutly nessicary. He doesn't waste words and prefers not to be social around company. What led him to hide himself from others?

Squall was SO PLAIN in colour that I'm so disappointed in this submission.
His hair was a plain brown, his outfit just BLACK... I tried adding detail in it, but it was just too bright, and too dark made it look like no effort when there was alot put into it.

I just didn't know what to do with him... :cry:
I'm sorry it turned out plain but sadly I can't help that... damn him and his non-bright..depression..sad.. blah!

Since he's so IMPORTANT... He's the only one that gets his weapon..and the only one that doesn't have a marone outline.

EDIT: Okay, as soon as I submitted this and had a look at the picture I instantly thought "WTF HAPPENED WITH THE BACKROUND?!?!"
Deviantart art is being BAAAAAD! It shows perfectly fine with the photoshop file, also when it previously uploads.. but I don't know what happened with the quality.. I can't possibly be resized either.. oh noesss!! :cry:

Black makes it look gloomy, but it does fit with his pose and expression. This was Squall at the beginning. So you did good! I am glad he wasn't lonely and like this at the end. hehe
You drew him well. Only the sword seems a bit weird. Like it bends behind his back. Hmm. Still a good drawing! :)

And Quistis is so in her element! I liked your description with her. You are so right. The glasses are cool! hehe

Aww, he looks so grumpy ... As always xD Grumpy ol' Squall. He does get less grumpy at the end tho... hee hee :3 And he actually smiles! yay XD

Anyways <_< Y'know, I always wondered where his gunblade disappeared to after battles... My brother and I later came to the conclusion that he put it IN his pants. XD That led to many interesting scenarios in some of my random fanfictions... back in the day...
